Full MotoGP 22 Track List

The MotoGP 22 game has been an interesting title in the series, with a very difficult handling model that frustrated a lot of players. However, one massive thing in it’s favour is the superb track selection available on the game – one of the best you’ll see for a MotoGP game.

The MotoGP 22 game features 26 tracks in total, including all 21 tracks included on the original real life 2022 MotoGP season calendar, plus 5 additional tracks included in the “Nine Season 2009” game mode.

Here a complete list of every single track on the MotoGP 22 game:

  • Qatar – Losail International Circuit
  • Indonesia – Pertamina Mandalika Circuit
  • Argentina – Rio Hondo Circuit
  • USA (Texas) – Circuit Of The Americas (CoTA)
  • Portugal – Portimao Circuit
  • Spain (Jerez) –  Circuito de Jerez
  • France – Le Mans Bugatti Circuit
  • Italy – Mugello Circuit
  • Spain (Barcelona) – Catalunya Circuit
  • Germany – Sachsenring
  • Netherlands – TT Circuit Assen
  • Finland – Kymi Ring*
  • Great Britain – Silverstone Circuit
  • Austria – Red Bull Ring
  • San Marino – Misano Circuit
  • Spain (Aragon) – Motorland Aragon
  • Japan – Motegi
  • Thailand – Chang International Circuit
  • Australia – Phillip Island
  • Malaysia – Sepang International Circuit
  • Spain (Valencia) – Circuit Ricardo Tormo
  • USA (California) – Laguna Seca
  • Great Britain – Donington Park
  • Czech Republic – Brno Circuit
  • USA (Indianapolis) – Indianapolis Motor Speedway
  • Portugal – Estoril Circuit

* Remains on the game, but the real life grand prix was cancelled

All of these tracks can be used and combined as you wish in Time Trial and Custom Grand Prix/Championship modes, plus online and offline multiplayer.

This is an amazing track selection, but it’s split across two different game modes, so let’s break it down in more detail.

2022 Championship/Career Mode Track List

Let’s break down the complete list given above into just what you’ll race if you do a standard Career Mode or add an “official 2022 calendar” to a custom GP Championship:

  • Qatar
  • Indonesia
  • Argentina
  • Texas
  • Portimao
  • Jerez
  • Le Mans
  • Mugello
  • Catalunya
  • Sachsenring
  • Assen TT
  • Kymi Ring
  • Silverstone
  • Austria
  • Misano
  • Aragon
  • Motegi
  • Chang
  • Phillip Island
  • Sepang
  • Valencia

In other words, just the 21 tracks that were originally due to be raced on the real life 2022 MotoGP season calendar. The real life season actually had just 20 races as the Finnish GP at the Kymi Ring was cancelled, but it still remains on the game and is still included in any official full 2022/career mode seasons you race in.

“Nine Season 2009” Game Mode Track List

If you decide to the do the Nine Season 2009 special game mode, which relives the classic 2009 season, you’ve got a slightly different track list, with 17 circuits in total including 5 different circuits:

  • Qatar
  • Motegi
  • Jerez
  • Le Mans Bugatti
  • Mugello
  • Catalunya
  • Assen TT
  • Laguna Seca
  • Sachsenring
  • Donington Park
  • Brno
  • Indianapolis
  • Misano
  • Estoril
  • Phillip Island
  • Sepang
  • Valencia

It’s kind of similar in some ways to the official 2022 calendar, but the 5 additional new tracks on this calendar not included in the official career mode are Laguna Seca (USA), Donington Park, Brno, Indianpolis and Estoril.

The cool thing with this game is that you CAN add any of these 5 older classic tracks that are no longer used in real life, to any custom Championship seasons you do. You can also race them in Time Trial and Multiplayer. Therefore you can mix and match modern and classic tracks to race the ones you like.

However, you can’t add any of these 5 older tracks to any custom Career mode seasons you race. For the official career mode, you are locked into choosing between the official 21 real life tracks, though you can pick an Intermediate or Shorter season with less tracks if you want.

Differences From The MotoGP 21 Track List

The previous edition of this game franchise, MotoGP 21, had a largely similar track list, but with a few differences. Basically, 3 tracks are in ’22 that aren’t in ’21:

  • Main track list -Mandalika (Indonesia) was missing from the ’21 game, as it did not debut until 2022. Everything else is the same.
  • Classic/bonus tracks – Donington Park (UK), Laguna Seca (USA) and Brno (Czech) are also featured in ’21, but Indianapolis and Estoril are not and only feature in MotoGP 22.
  • Austria – Both games have this track, but the layout is different in ’22, where that second straight after the pit straight is now broken up by a chicane in the middle. In ’21 and all the games before, it’s just one single straight.
