F1 Games That Feature The Buddh International Circuit (India)

The Buddh International Circuit in New Delhi, India was something of a flash in the pan in terms of how long it was on the F1 calendar, but it was a massively popular track with both the real life drivers and gamers. With an undulating, flowing nature and a mix of high speed and low speed corners, it was a great challenge.

But exactly which F1 games can you race this track on? Unfortunately, your choices are limited, because it was only on the calendar for 3 years.

The F1 2013, F1 2012 and F1 2011 games feature the Buddh International Circuit. The track has not featured on the real life or F1 game calendars since 2013.

And that’s really it, sadly. I, like most players who raced it would love for it to come back, but it’s not likely unfortunately. It dropped off the calendar due to tax and other issues with local authorities in India, and doesn’t seem likely to return unfortunately.

Other Games Which Feature The Buddh International Circuit

I’d love this track to return to the F1 games even as a DLC classic track if it’s never going to return to the real life calendar. It was great fun to race with the old v8 era cars and I think it would be even more fun to race in the even faster hybrid era cars.

In terms of other unofficial games which feature the Buddh International Circuit, you don’t have many choices. But it is available on Assetto Corsa as a mod (see here for a YouTuber driving it using modded 2019 F1 cars).

And it’s also just recently been added to the MotoGP official calendar, so you race the track on the MotoGP ’23 game. And it’s set to be included in MotoGP ’24 as well.

It’s a very slightly modified version of the circuit that the F1 drivers raced on, but it’s almost the same. See here for a YouTuber trying out the Buddh Circuit on the MotoGP 23 game.
