F1 Games That Feature The Korea International Circuit (Yeongham)

The Korea International Circuit in Yeongham was much like the India track in that is was something of a flash in the pan, only appearing on the real life calendar for 4 years, before suddenly disappearing due to monetary difficulties.

But it was a great track to drive, with a high speed, flowing nature that was really satisfying once you got into a rhythm. It’s sad that it was dropped from the calendar, but like the Buddh International Circuit in India, it’s unfortunately not likely to return.

It’s presence on the F1 games follows it’s presence on the real life calendar, so you can play it on the following games:

  • F1 2013
  • F1 2012
  • F1 2011
  • F1 2010

And that’s really it unfortunately. It’s not present as a DLC track on any subsequent games, so you have to go back 10 years or more in the official F1 game catalogue to race this track.

Unfortunately, no other officially licensed racing games after F1 2013 feature the Korea International Circuit either, so it really is something of a retro circuit that’s harder to find. However, it is available as a modded circuit on Assetto Corsa.
