F1 Games That Feature The Istanbul Circuit (Turkey)

The Istanbul Park circuit was yet another hugely popular track with real life F1 drivers and F1 games alike, that’s sadly not on the calendar anymore. It was a late addition to some recent real life seasons, but what about the F1 games? Which editions can you race the Istanbul circuit on?

F1 2011 was the last official F1 game that featured the Istanbul Park Circuit. The track was also raced in the real life 2020 and 2021 F1 seasons, but was not added to the respective games.

And that’s really it unfortunately. You have to go all the way back to F1 2011 to actually race this great track on an official F1 game (there are other games that have it that we’ll cover below).

But here is a list of the official F1 games that feature the Turkey track:

  • F1 2011
  • F1 2010
  • F1 2009
  • F1 Championship Edition
  • F1 2006
  • F1 2005

So your choices are quite limited, and you’re going all the way back to the PS3 and Xbox 360 version games to race this circuit.

Other Games That Feature The Istanbul Circuit

Despite being a great track, Istanbul Park is also not featured on other racing games anything like as much as you’d think.

Here’s a list of other titles where you can race this circuit, but they’re either quite old or need mods:

  • Grid Autosport
  • Assetto Corsa (mod)
  • Automobilista (mod)
  • rFactor 2 (mod)

Hopefully it returns to the F1 calendar soon, and can come back on the games (or be added as a DLC track). See here for a YouTuber trying it out on Assetto Corsa with a 2022 mod car.
