F1 Games That Feature The Valencia Street Circuit (Spain)

The Valencia Street Circuit in Spain was, along with India, Korea and Turkey, another very popular F1 track that dropped off the F1 calendar in the early 2010s. It was a really technical but really fun circuit to race, mostly higher speed as well. Which of the official F1 games have it on their track list?

The Valencia Street Circuit is on the F1 2012, F1 2011, F1 2010 and F1 2009 games. It has not featured on any F1 or other racing games since then.

In other words, it’s been more than 10 years since you’ve been able to race this great track on any F1 game (see here for a YouTube nostalgically revisiting the Valencia track on the F1 2012 game). Sadly there’s no chance of it ever coming back in real life. It featured on the real life calendar from 2008 to 2012, after which it was cancelled due to lack of funds, and the track has been left derelict and abandoned for years now,

The track is available as a mod on Assetto Corsa (see here a YouTuber trying it out), but that’s about it.

The Valencia Street Circuit should also not be confused with the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, also in Valencia, which features quite prominently on the MotoGP games and hosts races in many other racing categories and formulas.

But as far as real life goes, the Valencia Street Circuit is long gone unfortunately. Maybe it’ll turn up as a classic track in one of the future games.
